maximiser offers SpliceCom Community Visionary Partners the opportunity to deliver hosted telephony in a variety of ways. Modern hosted IP telephony is achieved through the provision of high capacity centralised Telephony Services, typically residing within a Hosting Centre(s), delivering voice services to IP phones over public IP networks. These IP phones are typically non-proprietary SIP handsets. This type of service is widely available, however, they lack many of the advanced business telephony features and functionality available from on-site IP-PBX deployments. Due consideration is also needed when routing telephone calls over open IP networks, from both a security and quality perspective.
In addition to delivering Hosted Telephony over Public IP Networks, SpliceCom can uniquely offer Hosted Telephony over Private IP Networks. maximiser ‘Cloud’ Managed Solutions allows SpliceCom customers’ to utilise IP trunking routed to a virtual Call Server, running on a maximiser XS Call Server, located within a Hosting Centre. The XS Call Server would typically be hosted in a high reliability/high availability state, with dual servers, multiple disk drives, replicated infrastructure and trunks, etc. allowing fault tolerance, far in excess of that expected from a traditional IP PBX and associated services to be achieved.

A SpliceCom Community Partner’s Fully Managed Service offer is a commercial solution that offers SpliceCom customers’ a fully supported solution without any capital expenditure – or with only a partial capital outlay. Equipment, Network Services and Engineering Support are typically charged on a single per user basis, per month.
The SpliceCom Community Partner’s Managed Service may encompass some or all of the elements of Spectrum Managed Solutions as covered above. There is no set delivery of such a Fully Managed Service as all are bespoke to the individual customer’s business requirements. |
