SpliceCom Partner M12 Solutions Lands Significant Technology Refresh Deal

12 July 2010 – Chorleywood, UK; SpliceCom, the IP convergence company whose award winning maximiser Unified Communications platform combines voice, video, IP TV and web enabled IT applications at the desktop, today announced that West Country Accountancy and Financial Planning Firm Old Mill has extended its maximiser network to encompass all four of its offices, following the completion of a successful initial trial at one site.

Supplied by leading SpliceCom partner M12 Solutions, this impressive deal, valued at over £100,000, covers a complete telecoms technology refresh over three sites. The decision followed a trial at Old Mill’s new Melksham office, with the system now being extended to their three other offices in Exeter, Shepton Mallet and Yeovil.

The order is for the British made, SpliceCom maximiser Unified Communication system and associated network services. M12 will project manage the migration from the existing early 90’s technology to the latest Voice over IP systems. Effectively all of the sites will appear “as one” for staff, who will be able to forward and transfer calls and also “log on” at any site or home worker location. maximiser will also allow mobile users to be joined to the system. This investment is key to Old Mill in not only improving its’ client services but to differentiate itself significantly from their competition.
