SpliceCom Strengthen Management Team With Strategic Appointment

20 June 2011 – Chorleywood, UK; SpliceCom, whose award winning maximiser Business Telephony/Unified Communication platforms define next-generation communication by combining voice, video, IP TV and web enabled IT applications at the desktop, today celebrated the business's 10th anniversary by announcing that its board of directors has named Barry Edwards as Managing Director with immediate effect.

After a decade of technical roles with BT and Cable & Wireless, industry veteran Edwards enjoyed a successful sales career with Case Communications and StrataCom before relocating to Japan as President of FORE Systems/Marconi Japan. Since leaving Marconi, Edwards has been active in philanthropic endeavours and as a business consultant in the Biometrics and IT Networking spheres.
