SpliceCom’s PCS 60 for OS X is a truly unique application, which enables the delivery of advanced business telephony to the Apple Mac community for the very first time. Identical in operation and functionality to SpliceCom’s PCS 60 application for the Windows operating system, the Apple variant can be utilised on any iMac, MacBook Pro, PowerBook or iBook running OS X.

Microsoft Windows Support

SpliceCom’s PCS 60 Phone Partner, IP Softphone and Operators Console application runs on Microsoft Windows platforms. In addition, SpliceLog Pro runs natively in Windows, as does the SpliceQueue Desktop Client and MultiQueue Wallboard. Voicemail messages can be forwarded to Microsoft Exchange using SMTP or IMAP, whilst a TAPI driver enables “click to dial” operation from Outlook contacts and other TAPI enabled applications. "Popping" of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, ACT, Goldmine, Maximizer, Access and SQL database based apps and anything else supporting Active X controls can be achieved through Direct Dialer from Border Software, a maximiser Development Partner. 

In addition to the Windows applications and services provided by SpliceCom, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and maximiser Development Partner, SpiderGroup, have developed a suite of applications to provide enhanced productivity when deploying voice in Microsoft Windows environments. The Spidermax application portfolio consists of:

• Spidermax OCS Gateway for maximiser – Provides seamless integration between maximiser and Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007, enabling true collaboration between colleagues on shared documents and information.

• Spidermax Desktop Communicator for maximiser – A unified communications client for Microsoft environments. No Office Communication Server (OCS) required.

• Spidermax Active Directory Manager for maximiser – A server tool that allows IT Managers and System Administrators to fully manage maximiser’s LDAP system database directly from Microsoft Active Directory.
