SpliceCom’s Coming Home
SpliceCom has further increased the desirability of its systems in the Home Automation marketplace through the recent addition of WiFi support to the PCS 582G and PCS 572G IP Phones.
By supporting standard "off-the-shelf" USB WiFi adapters SpliceCom's top-of-the-range IP deskphones now no longer need wired LAN connectivity. This makes them ideal for deployment in the homes of high net worth individuals, listed buildings, hotels and other temporary usage scenarios where a permanent connection may not be possible or desirable.
"The addition of WiFi support to our PCS 582G and PCS 572G IP phones makes the SpliceCom portfolio even more attractive to those deploying modern phone systems in homes, listed buildings and boutique hotels," says Robin Hayman, Director of Marketing & Product Management. Add this to iPCS IP Softphone apps for Apple's iPad and Android tablets, IP Security Camera and Webcam viewing and control via the PCS 582G IP Phone and the PCS 60 IP Phone/Phone Partner, "lights out" displays on PCS IP Phones, etc. and you can see why SpliceCom is increasingly the name on the lips of those specialising in the home sector," concluded Hayman.
